Holidays are charged with emotions. They're a time of excited anticipation, especially for children. There's all the "stuff," of course, but it's more than that: the lights, the food, the celebration, the family togetherness.
As adults, we merge memories of holidays past with anticipation, combining remembrances of baby dolls, grandma's cookies, and that first bike with thoughts of family and friends, of helping to create joyful memories for our children and grandchildren.
